New Discovery

This is the latest thing in our household. He likes to see if he can get his toes in his mouth & he even does it in the bath. Carsten can also roll over from front to back and back to front and is very pleased with himself.

I guess you never realize how important your health is if you are healthy, but that completely changes if something is wrong. We as parents had to go through some testing on Carsten to see if his brain was okay, and we are happy to hear everything is normal. I guess the Dr wanted to put me through the ringer and see if I could handle this parenting stuff. Well, apparently I am not good at the worrying thing. I never was, but it is a lot worse when it is your child. You can't take for granted how lucky you are if you have your health, and your friends and family are healthy too.
I have to thank Mitch for being such a calming presence in my life. He can certainly put things into perspective and help support me.

Weekend Getaway

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Ahh... it is so nice go getaway once in awhile, even for a day. We went to Boulders Resort for the weekend and were nicely pampered. The resort was beautiful and it was great to lounge by the pool on a hot AZ day. We had an amazing dinner filled with foods we have never had and best of all, Carsten slept so we could enjoy the dinner and not rush. I think he knew mommy and daddy deserved it. We had a nice deck with a wonderful view to enjoy and the closet was the size of our old townhome. We are looking forward to having more weekend getaways at the AZ resorts. Thank goodness for the summer and reduced rates at the posh resorts.
